PMP Application Project Months and Hours Calculator

Complete the following fields and we will calculate the number of months and estimate the number of hours you can claim on your PMP application.

Once your application includes your other projects, it will need to show a total of 36 months of project experience (or 60 months if you only have a high-school diploma). You will also need to show 4500 hours of leading and directing project activities (or 7500 hours if you only have a high-school diploma).

For PMP applications, the Project Title does not need to be the official name of the project. Instead, the Project Title should be recognizable to your project contact and PMI as a one-time professional project and not something that was done repeatedly as part of ongoing operations.
Tip: Adding the word "Project" at the end of your title can help.
